The Little Princess and Prince story

Updated: Apr 8, 2024

Once upon a time there was a little princess, who had wonder in her eyes. She knew the world had mysteries to share and magic that was both exciting and scary. Determined to to explore everything. When she looked around she saw the world through her mothers eyes, and knew that it was a hard world to tame with lots of lessons. She knew that one day she would be the one that has come to help change it all but she was just a small child and still had a lot to learn first.

One day she heard a voice in her ear, quiet but familiar. The voice sounded like hers, but different. She had this instinctual knowing, that she did in fact know that voice, as the closest person in her work that she could imagine. When she looked around she only saw the air. Which also seemed quite familiar, like it had a person to be.

The little princess imagined what the voice would look like if it was infact a person. Someone who looked like her but different. A little prince with light dark hair, about the same height and the same whimsical look in his eye. The little prince would understand her in ways no one else was able. She spent many days with the prince in mind, talking to him mentally like as if he were there with her, playing with her toys next to her. Often times she knew the little prince would come visit her in her sleep and kiss her on her for head, and she drifted off into dream land. So she would set up her pillow and brush her long, beautiful golden hair across her pillow. She was sure doing this would ensure that when he came to find her at night to kiss her on her forehead, he couldn’t miss her because she would be the most beautiful, glistening shining star in the night to help guide him home to her. This is one of her favorite practices every night before she went to bed, wishing and hoping and knowing that her prince would come for her one day somewhere in someway until then she would wait as patiently as possible.

While she didn’t know where this little prince was in the real world, she did know that he was here on the planet with her. That offered her some peace for what she knew was about to unfold in her life. She found solace in knowing that one day they would find each other just as they’ve done before in different times and places and together they would rule the kingdom in peace, harmony, and light

As time went on the little princess’ world unfolded in expected but unfortunate ways that left her hiding from the world. There, she forgot that she was even a princess at all, and with it went the promise her prince would come and sweep her off her feet to take her to a better place and time. Life had other plans for them for they would infact meet one day, but the little prince too forgot he was a prince, and he forgot about his princess. So when the fates brought them together, they did not recognize each other. Both lost in their own darkness, they found each other, and for a time they found each other Inthe darkness, even though they didn’t recognize each other.

The little princess, while unaware, began to see light in the little prince. A light that was familiar but she didn’t quite understand it. As she allowed the light he brought, to fill he life slowly, she had glimpses of what they were together. She was very deep in her darknesses and didn’t understand the glimpses she caught. So when the little prince brought her the star he found in his heart, she didn’t trust herself to believe what she was receiving. Instead she dove into the darkness determined to figure why by herself, leaving the little prince to hold the star alone.

What she didn’t know at the time was that she would eventually find her own star so that she could bring it to the little prince. However, when she turned around with her star, the little prince was gone, nowhere to be seen. So she began to remember.  She remembered who she was, and she remembered what she came here to do, and then she remember the little prince. This reminded her of the little princess she use to be and how the little princess use to wait every night and every day for the little prince.

Just like before, she began to hear him in her ear again, and began looking for him. She knew once again that they would meet someplace sometime.

One day the little princes, now all grown up, looked up at the sky with a longing for home. A home she did not know but knew with her very being. She feared this home was too far away to get to. As she sat in her feeling of missing home, she heard a voice. The voice of the little prince, now grown, called back from home and said “I am here”

The little princess did not understand, she assumed through her fears of the worst. That home was where the little prince was, and seemed too far and out of reach. She felt as though she may never see either this life and decided to live out the rest of her days as happy as she could.

She fell back into the shadows, unknowingly, but held her star high as a guiding light. At some point her star helped her find a way out. The journey was much harder than she imagined but she knew the only way out was through. What she didn’t realize was, once she began to pull herself out, she heard a distant voice. Unsure of what it was, but the pull was intuitive, either way it was a guiding signal out of where she had been.

So she began heading towards the voice, with each step it got louder and closer. The voice began to take shape and become familiar as she saw a light at the end of the tunnel. When she reached the light the voice called to her, in her ear she could hear it like they were standing next to her. There was no body around but she knew now who the voice was. The familiarity of the voice reminded her of the little prince.

The little prince was on his own adventures and when he got lost he called out. What he didn’t know was that his voice would travel to the little princess who was no longer lost thanks to his call. The little princess called back “I am here” and the little prince was shocked to get a reply.

While they did not meet then, they heard each other. As time went on they realized they could send messages to each other, talking through the birds, the wind, music and so much more.

The little brunches reached for the sky, hoping to grasp at something. She knew that just out of her reach was what she was looking for. She called out in hopes that the something heard her.

The little prince, just an eon away heard a faint but soft sound coming from the warm wind swirling around him. He knew that whatever was calling him, was important so he sent a message on sunlight to moon beam. The message was of the depths of the cosmos above and beyond where the little princess was calling from.

The little princess was suddenly dripped and covered in a cosmic ray of light, and color. She found herself immersed in a world unknown but familiar. She learned to fold the cosmos and cross the sands of time and the vastness of space. She knew that with her new found skills she would find the voice in the distance.

She called out once more for a beacon to follow. Sending in waves of change and transformation. The message was that she was coming. The little prince had much to do before the little princess arrived.

The little princess got lost in the infinite folds of the universe. Traveling from place to place, experiencing everything she encountered. The universe had every type of experience the little princess could think to have. Not all of them were fun, and some of them reminded her of the dark place she got stuck in.

The little princess found herself finding a nice quiet space to collect herself. She found solace in this place of peace. As she grounded herself into the earth she began to explore the depths of beauty she found. There were so many colors here, and so many unique existences. She found that she sunk into the earth and forgot what she was doing, entering a slumber after her long journey, the rest was welcomed. The peace she found also found her. She still had this feeling, a knowing she was being called somewhere else. But there were so many stars in the sky here, it would take a while to find the right one to follow.

So as she lay sunken into the earth each night, she began her search of the stars. Hoping to find the purpose in the mysteries of the night. Often times she would hear echos that sounded like the prince. Sometimes the stars looked like eyes looking back at her. The universe was a much bigger place than she had imagined. She was grateful for the opportunity to explore the cosmos deeply.

In the folds of infinity she found many reflections of herself, and the longer she looked the more she found herself. The little princess began to wonder what she was made of. “Am I made of stars?” The little princess pondered this new identity. This whole time she was looking for something in space when she was made of space. “I’ve been looking in all the wrong places! I need to look within.” The little princess was excited at her new found revelation. A new place to explore as vast as the cosmos itself.

“What am looking for, a reflection of myself? Well in order to find that, I must find myself first.” So this time the little princess stopped looking outside of herself and started looking within.

As the little princess begins to drown once again in the darkness all around her, lost and spinning in circles, she knows the little prince can hear her, where ever he is in relation to her. So she decides to sit and wait, knowing there is no where for her to go and nothing more important to do than the present moment until he calls back to her, and gives her direction.

The little prince, sitting on his favorite rock, listening to the cosmos all around him, waiting for the princess to find him, hears her call. Surprised, the prince stands up. Knowing that something didn’t happen the way they had hopped, he knew he had to take action. He calls out “I don’t know where you think you are, but I will find you, some way some how. I will let the universe guide me.” The prince leaps off his rock and says goodbye, unsure when or if he will return. He knows he must do something, but he doesn’t know what yet. He heads in the direction he heard the little princess, determined to get there.

As the prince travels he finds the push and pull, ebb and flow, of the cosmos, pushing him and pulling him every direction. Instead of getting distracted this time, he surrenders. Knowing that fighting the flow will only bring him to places he does not want to go. The cosmic winds and the seas guide him as if by an unseen force, a helping hand. He hears the princesses song and knows that see in his heart, it’s his song too.

As he surrenders he begins to hum and sing along with the princess, hopping and praying that the guiding vibration will bring them near. “I’m coming for you my dear one” he exclaims. “You won’t be alone much longer.” As he travels, the little prince leaves a trail of stars behind him as if he is a shooting star across the universe.

The little Princess hears a song deep within herself, something strong and familiar. As she began to travel within the song became louder and louder. She knew that this was the source of  all things within her. She began to devote herself to this new found vibration, letting it lead her to where she is meant to go and flow.

Suddenly she begins to hear an echo. So she sings louder, and heads in the direction of herself reflected back. “I will find you, myself, and you will be the most beautiful version of me I have ever been. Then I can shine so bright that no one, not even my prince can’t miss me.”

As the little princess becomes more and more confident with herself, the vibration she is sending out illuminates her darkest depths. The contrast Is stunning and moving. She begins to flow in and out of the darkness like it’s a river, learning the depths that it can go, and staying afloat with the sound of her song and vibration. “I will not sink, I will float. I will not push or pull. I surrender to the flow of the pool” she sings.

As she gets closer to the echo, she begins to find a light, brighter than she has ever seen before. The closer she gets the brighter it becomes, until nothing but the light can be seen. “It’s blindingly beautiful! I can’t see anything but I know I am safe. I am home.”

As she finds a place in the light to sit and rest she looks down and finds that she is sitting a rock that seems familiar. She notices the rock has a worn spot, that someone spends a lot of time sitting at. “I think I know this rock, it must belong to the prince! But if I’m here, where is he?” She continues to sit on the prince’s rock singing brighter and louder than she has ever before. She knows she is home, home within and without herself. I am safe now. She tells herself. I won’t move from this spot until my prince finds me. “The prince just has to come home, and we will be together at last”

The prince had decided the quickest way to travel and find the princess, was to go in every direction all at once. He was a sun after all, so he went as far as he could reach, encompassing everything within his sight. There was no way he wouldn’t find the little princess.

When he reached the end of all that he could see, he realized he did not find the princess. He could still hear her humming but it sounded different now. Like a soft lullaby, a mother would sing to her children. “If she isn’t where I can reach, then where do she go?” The prince was uncertain where to look next.

He realized the only place he didn’t look was back where he came from, within, to his home/rock. As he turned his gaze to the rock he noticed that it was not bright. It was infact a shadow on the rock. “How peculiar, my rock has always shined back my luminance. That must be the princess.

As he tracked back to his now dark rock, the humming got louder. He knew he was going in the right direction this time. Around the shadow was a halo of light, leaving beautiful rainbows glittered around the shadow.

As the prince approached he said “how you make the world around you glitter and shine the most magnificent lights I have ever seen”

“This rock was the only light that I could see, nothing has ever shown any brighter. I followed the light inside my heart, it became this bright rock.” The princess turned around to look at who was talking to her.

“Hello,” the prince stopped thoughtfully “are you the one I hear weeping in the night? I’ve been looking for you. Why were you weeping so?”

Blinded by the magnificence of the prince sun, “I have been looking for my reflection, and found myself first, and now you…” the little princess asked “what is your name, oh eluminated one?” The princess began to shine brighter and brighter the longer she looked at the prince. It seemed as if the prince brought the fullness of the princess’ light to its purest form.

“Clone, and you, gental surrenderer of all that is, what is your name?”

“Shelly”
